Appointment of a Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer

(Part-Time, averaging c20 hours per week)

Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council are now seeking a dynamic and proactive Parish Clerk who can lead and support Councillors and staff.

As Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer you will be expected to maintain statutory duties and a high level of corporate governance.

The successful candidate will lead staff and work closely with 11 Councillors to deliver local services, whilst building relationships across all levels of local government, ensuring Highcliffe and Walkford has a voice across the area.

Contractor Required For Maintenance Work In The Parish

The Highcliffe and Walkford Parish Council is seeking the services of a local Contractor to carry out some ground maintenance work within the Parish.

The following is an indicative (but not exhaustive) list of tasks that will be required to be undertaken:

  • Weeding, removal of debris and general maintenance of footpaths
  • Maintenance of various areas including the Zig-Zag path
  • Maintenance within Parish Council assets e.g. Nea Meadows

The contract will initially be for an anticipated weekly input of 15 hours.

The contractor will supply their own transport and tools and will be responsible for the removal and disposal of all weeds and rubbish.

The successful contractor must demonstrate that they have current Public Liability insurance cover.
