Welcome to the Highcliffe & Walkford Parish Council website. We were established in 2019 to represent and support the interests of our community both within the area and to the outside world. Following the recent amalgamation of the towns of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch into a single local authority, the parish council has a vitally important role representing the interests of Highcliffe & Walkford at the Unitary level.

This website has been designed to increase access to information and to improve communication with residents and visitors to this beautiful part of Dorset.

Our vision is to ensure that everything we hold to be of value within the parish thrives. We are committed to do all we can within our statutory powers to support residents, organisations, businesses and the environment.

In addition to looking after our present population we need to be aware that we are custodians for future generations and we will also strive to make Highcliffe & Walkford a better place for them.
