John Webster

John has been a resident of Highcliffe for 14 years after moving here from Brazil. He has lived and worked in international locations for most of his 45 years career as a Quality Consultant.

He now has time and the enthusiasm to be able to provide assistance in improving the local community via the council in what is a spectacular area to live.

Robin and his wife have lived in Highcliffe over 50 years . The village was initially selected as it had reasonable access to Southampton and Bournemouth, had a high school with an excellent educational reputation, the first premium beach travelling west of Southampton and a village set in a green canopy of trees.

On arrival in this area Robin opened an office in Southampton for a Scottish  Assurance Company, later  moving to a firm of Lloyds Brokers before establishing his own firm as Independent Financial Advisers

His past local interests include being Chairman of Highcliffe Scouts and Secretary of Highcliffe Residents Association

His prime interest as a local Parish Councillor is to assist in improving local infrastructure, renovating the clifftop paths and steps and overall aiming to improve local facilities and welfare opportunities for residents.

Willie McNeill

I was born in Glasgow in the days with steel foundries and shipyards. I had an academic career in mathematics / cosmology before entering the world of computing with a career with Rolls Royce IBM and Bank of Scotland. Living in Linlithgow a town near Edinburgh I was involved in community work via the Community Council. Moving to Dorset I am involved in a number of community groups including Rotary, Highcliffe Residents’ Association, and Highcliffe in Bloom, with a passion for local community involvement. In my spare time I enjoy golf, walking, travel and reading.

Tina Butcher

Tina was born in Birmingham, West Midlands and moved to Highcliffe On Sea 4 years ago following a relocation request from her employer in her role as an Employee Relations Subject Matter Expert within the Company’s Human Resources department. Tina is currently still in full-time employment, however, as a wildlife conservationist, gardener and keen photographer she is looking forward to retiring from her current position in the near future, and spending more time on her passions and exploring the beautiful area in which we are very fortunate to live.

Cllr Andy Martin

Andy Martin

Andy Martin has been a journalist for more than 30 years most recently as editor and head of news at the Daily Echo, where he is now associate editor and community ambassador. He also teaches politics at Bournemouth University and is the chief examiner for the National Council for the Training of Journalists. He also works as a media training consultant for organisations including the MoD and local authorities.

Andy is also a cabinet member on BCP Council.

Adam Sofianos

Adam grew up in London and worked there in various industries for 15 years. He left the city behind and moved here with his family in 2014, after first discovering Highcliffe while on holiday. He is an active supporter of various community issues, particularly the environment, and is very passionate about the area.
